The Content Security Manager 2100 CF from SonicWALL Inc. (www.sonicwall.com) is a full-featured content-filtering solution in an easily manageable appliance that is suitable for educational institutions of all sizes. It helps to enhance network security and student/teacher productivity, optimize network utilization, as well as manage access to more than 55 unique categories of Internet content. It also provides IM, peer-to-peer and multimedia application controls for bandwidth management. The 2100 CF features an onboard dynamic rating engine that lets users obtain real-time ratings for new, unrated URLs. It can also implement flexible time-of-day features that allow access to only certain categories at set times in the day, with the ability to manage policies centrally.
