Corel Introduces Flexible K-12 Site License

Corel Corp. has introduced a new K-12 site license designed to give schools an improved and more affordable way to access their education portfolio. This program builds on Corel’s reputation for allowing schools to purchase what they need, while offering them the capability to customize those needs as they grow. The Corel education portfolio consists of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12, Corel Painter IX, WordPerfect Office 12 - Student and Teacher Edition, Paint Shop Pro 9, and Paint Shop Pro Studio.

The new site license allows schools to choose either one, two or all five of Corel’s applications for one set price, with no contract or additional paperwork required. Each purchase includes one set of media, a site license, free home and laptop usage for teachers and staff, as well as complimentary Lynda.com training for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 and Corel Painter IX. In addition, when a school purchases Corel’s site license, the professional development centers in their district will be eligible to receive a free site license and one free training seminar.
