K12 Alerts Let Schools Send Real-Time Emergency Messages

K12 Alerts is an emergency messagingplatform from Message Logix(www.k12alerts.com) that enables schooldistricts to send real-time emergencymessaging (e.g., weather alerts, schoolclosings, calendar of events, etc.) toparents and staff via e-mail and/or SMStext-based cell phone messages (up to 160characters). For parents, the productfeatures an online “My Account”system tomaintain their emergency contact informationand their children’s information,24/7. In addition, superintendents andadministrators can use the system toquickly analyze who has received andopened important notifications, as well astrack Web site click-through rates.
