Both schools and teachers will receive the awards.

Best Buy said it plans to award more than 1,500 schools with Teach awards in February 2008. $100,000 district-level awards will be announced in May 2008.

Any public and private elementary, middle and secondary schools located within 50 miles of a Best Buy store may apply for the Teach award. For those who wish to apply can visit the link below. Applications will be accepted until Sept. 30, 2007.
