Crime at Schools Flat in Latest DOJ Stats

Serious crime at schools has not increased in the latest statistics to be released by the United States Department of Justice. In fact, in some cases, it's gone down. And, furthermore, school-aged children are still wildly more likely to be the victims of violent crime or theft away from school than at school, according to a recently released report from the DOJ and the U.S. Department of Education called Indicators of School Crime and Safety: 2007....

Parallels Adds Full Mac OS X 10.5 Support, Premium Edition Launched

SWsoft has released an update for its virtualization software for Mac OS X, Parallels Desktop. The latest build (3.0 build 5582) brings full support for Mac OS X 10.5 ("Leopard"). It also brings various other, minor enhancements added since the previous build, released at the end of November. The company has also shipped a new suite called Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac Premium Edition, which bundles the core virtualization software with various Windows utilities....
