THE Journal 2008 Innovator Awards Open

The nomination period for THE Journal's 2008 Innovator Awards program is now open. The awards seek to recognize individual K-12 teachers and administrators for exceptional efforts at improving education through the use of technology.

Past winners in the program have included educators and administrators using a wide range of technologies in the classroom, from professional development and literacy programs to international videoconferencing and podcasting projects. Further information about past winners can be found here.

Winners of the 2008 Innovator Awards will be featured in the December issue of THE Journal.

Nominations for tis year's program will remain open through Aug. 29. The nomination form can be accessed here.
