MINDsprinting Offers Free Online Math Tutoring

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

With budget cutbacks effecting school districts nationwide, Miami-based online tutoring company MINDsprinting is offering free math tutoring to help improve student performance on annual high-stakes math exams.

MINDsprinting provides standards-based math programs for all 50 states, and Washington D.C., allowing teachers to augment their own instruction with the pre-designed curriculum.

"Our educators reviewed each state's standards, one-by-one, and assigned the lessons necessary to master the required skills. But what makes this program special is the way it allows students to master those skills at their own pace: it's tailored to the individual. Students don't waste time doing lessons they don't need. The Assessment Test creates a program that skips skills they've mastered unless the teacher elects otherwise. So each program will be different. This way all students can master the skills required for the exam - but they will do so in a way and at a pace that suits them as individuals" said Steve Golden, MINDsprinting's Co-Founder and CEO, in the June Statement.

Educators can assess the program at MINDsprinting's Web site by registering and talking the Math Assessment test. Once completed, they can use the company's Fast Tracking feature to select individual state standards and review the lessons assigned to address them. A copy of the published standard is also provided, for reference.
