Thinkronize Offers Hotmath Free on netTrekker d.i.
Educational content provider Thinkronize has announced that Hotmath will be available to subscribers of the company's search engine, netTrekker d.i., free of charge.
Hotmath is a research-based, online tool that provides students in grades 6 through 12 step-by-step help with the odd-numbered math problems from more than 250 textbooks. The Web-based program also provides resources for math workbooks, graphing calculators, math games, and review lessons, in addition to live online tutoring, and video lessons for pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry.
"Our mission is to help every child succeed in math," said Chuck Grant, CEO of Hotmath, in a prepared statement. "By partnering with Thinkronize, we are expanding the availability of Hotmath and providing an invaluable aid for students."
Hotmath will be made available to netTrekker d.i. subscribers weekdays from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. in each time zone. Individual schools or districts can upgrade to full-time access for an additional fee through netTrekker d.i.
"We have been partners with Hotmath since 2006 and are thrilled to offer this valuable program free to our subscribers," said Christine Willig, president of Thinkronize. "Incorporating more content options like Hotmath into netTrekker d.i. offers our users access to the quality resources they need in one central location, without having to log into multiple products."
The free service is scheduled to be available for the fall 2008 school year.
