NEC Launches Ultraportable XGA Projector

NEC recently debuted a new high-end model in its NP Mobile line of ultraportable projectors. The new NP62 sports an XGA resolution and high light light output and contrast ratio in a 3.7-pound form.

The NP62 offers a resolution of 1,024 x 768, a contrast ratio of 1,600:1, and a brightness of 3,000 lumens. It includes RGB, S-video, and composite video inputs and is compatible with HD input up to 1080i.

Other features include:

  • A lamp life of 3,500 hours in eco mode, 2,500 hours in normal mode;
  • Auto and manual keystone correction ±40 degrees;
  • Stereo minijack;
  • Dimensions of 9.7" x 7.1" x 2.9";
  • 64-step image magnification; and
  • Color correction for direct projection on a wall.
