Five Georgia school systems have signed on to deploy the Education Management student information system from Tyler Technologies.

Districts contracting with Tyler include Thomasville City Schools, Calhoun County Schools, Thomas County Schools, Terrell County Schools, and McIntosh County Schools. Under the agreements, Tyler will provide the districts with software licenses, related professional services, ongoing maintenance, and general product support.

"Tyler's Education Management solution continues to grow its client base throughout the United States," said John S. Marr Jr., president and chief executive officer of Tyler Technologies, in a prepared statement. "Our integrated solution provides school districts with the rich functionality and exceptional reporting and tracking abilities they require to manage student and educational data. In the end, it gives districts the freedom to focus on the important work of educating their students."

The Education Management platform provides Web-based access to student information and is SIF-certified.
