PC Mall Gov and T.H.E. Journal Announce Essay Contest Winners for Middle and High School Students

Manassas, VA - January 26, 2009 - PC Mall Gov, Inc., a subsidiary of PC Mall, Inc. (NASDAQ: MALL), is pleased to announce the winners of the “Green Light Contest,” which we announced on September 17, 2008. The essay contest was designed to encourage students to examine how technology is affecting their classrooms and schools, and what this means for the environment overall. The announcement of the winners was made at FETC, the Florida Educational Technology Conference, on January 23, 2009 in Orlando, Florida.

Partnering with HP, InFocus, 1105 Media and T.H.E. Journal, PC Mall Gov received entries from middle and high school age students into the “Green Light Contest” from September 17, 2008 through December 1, 2008. Essays of 1,000 words or less describing how students and teachers can use technology to protect the environment were judged by leaders in the fields of education and technology.

5-8th Grade Category Winner

Grand Prize Winner – a 30 seat HP and InFocus “Green” Computer Lab – Helen Ayala Unger, Charles F. Brush High School, Lyndhurst, OH
