Social Networking Site Focuses on Teaching Strategies

A new social learning site has launched, one that's focused on sharing teaching strategies and other ideas surrounding the use of interactive classroom response systems.

The site, Turning Talk, from Turning Technologies, allows educators to communicate and collaborate through a variety of Web 2.0 tools. Forums cover best practices, technical help, wish lists, and other topics. Users can also register for a free account to create their own blogs. It also offers bookmarks, buddy lists, polls, and various other community features.

In addition, Turning-Talk will also feature a series of articles from Eric Mazur, chairman of Turning Technologies'
Instructional Strategy Advisory Group. He'll be posting a series of articles related to his book Peer Instruction: A User's Manual.

Further information, including registration information, can be found on the Turning-Talk site here.
