Leaps 3.0 Gains On-Demand Reporting

Provenio Group has released Leaps 3.0, an update to the company's online planning tool for disciplinary and behavior management for schools.

Leaps is a Web-delivered system that's designed to help educators identify and deal with issues related to student behaviors. According to the company, it's being used in "hundreds of schools" in more than 40 districts in the United States. Designed for all student populations, it includes tools for addressing problems, such as online lessons; assessments for gauging progress; and reporting tools for tracking progress. For educators, it also provides both live and on-demand training delivered via the Web.

Version 3.0 expands the library of lessons available and adds profiling and assessment tools for both individuals and classrooms. (Profiling tools are used to identify needs and help teachers plan for addressing them.) It also offers new, on-demand reporting and general usability enhancements.

Leaps 3.0 is available now. Pricing varies with the type of license used, but, as a guideline, Provenio said Leaps might run $0.02 per student per day based on a site license for a school with a population of 500 students. Additional details about pricing and features can be found here.
