Brief: Maui Administrators Track Development With Teacher Compass

Administrators in Maui Public Schools are using iPads and Teacher Compass to follow and direct the professional development of teachers.

Pearson's Teacher Compass is an online tool that allows administrators to observe, collect, organize, and analyze teacher data and provide any coaching or support that may be needed.

The customizable program was developed by Johns Hopkins University Center for Technology in Education with the help of K-12 administrators and includes disaggregation of results, reports and graphs of performance indicators, and personalized professional development plans.

Teacher Compass is available as a yearly subscription. More information is available here.
