Belkin Designs Mobile Device Charging Station for K-12 Environments

Belkin has introduced a mobile device store and charge station for education use. The new Store and Charge station is designed to store and charge up 10 devices at the same time. The solution is expected to be available this June, according to the company.

The station comes with wide storage slots that support most mobile devices, including Chromebooks, iPads, Samsung Galaxy, Samsung Note, tablets, and notebooks up to 13 inches. Store and Charge enables different types of devices to charge, simultaneously, using their own charging cable or adapter. The station's open setup supports wireless syncing.

Store and Charge is compatible with standard AV carts. Up to three stations can be attached to a cart.

Additional features of the station include:

  • Angle-design slots for easy access to devices;
  • Integrated cable management;
  • Surge-protected power supply;
  • Numbered bays and labeling space on slots;
  • Surface mounting capability to securely affix units to tables or carts.

Belkin plans to make the Store and Charge for education available June 2013. Additional information about the station is available online.
