Atomic Hosts Free Accessibility Workshop for Educators
Atomic Learning has launched a free online workshop for educators focused on legal and technical requirements for providing accessible learning materials to students.
The workshop, "Accessibility: It Is Important," developed in support of National Disability Awareness Month focuses on the basics of accessibility and the use of accessible learning materials.
Topic to be covered include:
- How to check materials for accessibility;
- How to create accessible materials, including presentations and online materials;
- How to caption movies;
- Understanding different disabilities; and
- Legal and ethical requirements for accessible learning materials.
