ISTE 2014 Will Feature 5 EdTekTalks

The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) has unveiled the lineup for its inaugural EdTekTalks at ISTE 2014 in Atlanta. Five thought leaders from outside the world of ed tech will deliver mini-keynotes on Monday, June 30, from 2:15 p.m.- 4:15 p.m.

The EdTekTalk speakers are the following:

Dale Dougherty
, founder of Make magazine, creator of Maker Fair and coiner of the phrase “Web 2.0,” brings the DIY mindset to everyday technology, celebrating the joy of tweaking, hacking and bending tech tools to your own will.

Shaherose Charania’s passion for technology and making a positive difference in the world inspired her to create Women 2.0, a media brand at the intersection of women, entrepreneurship and technology that’s designed to foster the next generation of technology leaders. In 2010, she was recognized by Fast Company as one of the Most Influential Women in Technology.

Attendance at the EdTekTalks is included in ISTE 2014 registration, but seating is limited. Registered attendees are encouraged to sign up in advance here.
