BenQ Launches Grant Program for Interactive Displays

BenQ has kicked off a new grant program for education.

Called "BenQ Cares," the program offers discounts to colleges, universities and K-12 schools on BenQ's IL650 and RP700+ interactive displays. The IL650 is a 65-inch dual-point interactive display, while the RP700+ is a 70-inch unit with six-point interactivity and cross-platform support for Chrome OS, OS X, Windows and Linux. The RP700+ also includes WiFi support and HD resolution.

"BenQ has always had a very strong commitment to education, and we have developed core expertise in interactive display systems that can add a new dimension to classroom learning," said Patti Postel, BenQ's national education sales manager, in a prepared statement. "With the BenQ Cares Education Grant, we're offering our award-winning interactive touch panels as powerful teaching tools for educators to engage students and take lesson plans to the next level."

The program is open to all public and private accredited institutions in the United States and Canada.
