Partnership Lets Teachers Adjust Learning Platforms More Easily

A new partnership between two different kinds of technology companies in the education space is designed to free teachers from some administrative chores and give them more time with students.

Digedu, which provides online learning platforms, and Clever, whose platform allows school districts to sync their student information with learning software, have announced the strategic partnership. Teachers and administrators at K-12 schools who use digedu will now be able to immediately populate their digital learning platforms with secure up-to-date student information.

In many cases, without the collaboration between the two technology providers, a school's student information data base is not immediately available to teachers using a digital learning platform. With the collaboration, a single sign-on will allow teachers to immediately incorporate changes in student information into their online learning systems.

Clever's software provides a number of benefits along with the single sign-on for both educational and administrative functions. With Clever's instant login, digedu users will be able to use their existing district credentials to log in.

"It can be a struggle keeping student data up to date and consistent because class schedules and teachers' rosters are constantly changing," said digedu President and Co-founder Matt Tullman. "Integrating with Clever allows us to deliver a more streamlined experience so teachers can give students undivided attention."

Clever already has similar partnerships in place that allow it to integrate with Interactive Achievement, Imagine Learning and Dream Box.

Clever CEO Tyler Bosmeny said, "Schools should focus on teaching and learning and not on integrating and signing in to their applications."

The integration will become effective this month at no additional cost to current or future clients.
