Kuka Debuts Robotics Certificate Program

Kuka Robotics has debuted a program designed to help high schools, community colleges, universities and vocational schools offer a certificate based on robotics, Kuka Official Robotics Education (KORE).

Using the program, students will learn basic robot programming and operation skills using the same robots found in various industries.

"The Kuka KORE program adds robotic learning to career technical education programs, offers curriculum and project-centered activities to prepare students when working with real world industrial robots, joins innovative robotic curriculum certification with career cluster credentials and supporting community workforce retaining initiatives," according to a news release.

"We developed the Kuka KORE program to allow the education community to offer stimulating education and training on Kuka products. In providing the KORE program we can help cultivate the next generation of robotic engineers and technologists," said James Cooper, vice president of sales at Kuka Robotics, in a prepared statement.
