FlipCon15 Will Feature 70 Sessions on Flipped Learning

The Flipped Learning Network will hold its eighth annual Flipped Conference (FlipCon15) July 13 through 15, on the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing.

The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Paul Andersen, 2011 Montana Teacher of the Year and finalist for the 2011 National Teacher of the year. Andersen is currently taking a two-year sabbatical from Bozeman High School in Montana and serves as vice-chair on the Montana Board of Public Education.

FlipCon15 will include pre-conference sessions; a hands-on boot camp; three plenary sessions on flipped learning in K-12 and higher education; 12 featured sessions; and more than 70 concurrent sessions across all areas of K-16, including a curated “New to Flipping” track.

Session topics will include the following:

• New to Flipped Learning;
• Tools & Skills of the Trade;
• Beyond the Flipped Classroom;
• Leadership, Professional Development, Workplace Training;
• Flipped in Higher Education and Teacher Education; and
• Research on Flipped Learning.

Onsite registration for FlipCon15 is currently open here. The onsite fee is $450, with price breaks for the pre-conference training and Boot Camp sessions. The University of Northern Colorado is offering graduate credits to attendees.
