Cypress Woods High School – Project HUNCH

12/01/13

Project HUNCH (High Schools United with NASA to Create Hardware) gives students the opportunity to design and build products for potential use in space missions. As part of this project, NASA asked the students of Cypress Woods High School to design and build a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that carries a camera and can maneuver around the zero-gravity environment of the International Space Station (ISS) under the direction of ground control. Learn how the students used 3D printing to quickly and inexpensively build functional prototypes to test and improve the functionality of their design.
