Find & ID Network Anomalies Faster

The LAN-hopper utilizes centralized software-directed switching for network analyzers, enabling technical personnel to troubleshoot multi-LAN environments without changing the physical location of the analyzer. Its sole goal is to minimize network downtime. Menu-driven software communicates with an Ethernet Port Switching Matrix (either 8- or 16-port units). A scan feature allows user definition and execution of an unattended LAN scan, keeping a history file to correlate with an analyzer trace. Other units are RING-hopper, for Token Ring LANs; UTP-hopper for UTP-based LANs; and WAN-hopper, for Wide Area Networks. LAN-hopper Systems, Inc., Atlanta, GA, (800) 350-5540.
