WordPerfect 6.1 for DOS Boasts Many Enhancements

The latest version of the world's best-selling DOS word processor, WordPerfect 6.1 is a lean and code-efficient product targeted at those with a large investment in 286- and 386-based PCs and others not planning a move to Windows. Enhancements make the package more accessible. For example, tables can now be edited directly within the document window, and "history' lists display the last several options chosen by the user, whether opening a file, searching for text, selecting a font or addressing an envelope. QuickCorrect automatically corrects spelling errors as they occur, removes extra spaces in between words and sentences, capitalizes the first letter of a sentence and inserts typeset-quality quotation marks. A Make It Fit feature shrinks or expands a document up to 50% of or over original size. Plus, new templates automate creating letters, memos, fax covers, etc. Novell, Inc., Orem, UT, (800) 453-1267.
