SW Turns Docs Into Digital Publications

GUIDE Passport uses templates to automatically generate a variety of electronic publications from existing word processor-originated documents.

The program first imports documents and structural elements, such as style names and text patterns, then creates a template with the original file elements. Default options automate the process by linking a table of contents from existing heading styles, inserting frame breaks and placing custom control panels.

Content revisions can be made directly in the original file then recompiled through the template to produce an updated electronic version. InfoAccess, Inc., Bellevue, WA, (206) 747-3203.
