CSU/DSUs Boast Open Architecture
The WANMaster family of CSU/DSU units boasts an open hardware/software architecture that can be expanded when an institution's communications needs change.
Used to connect networks over T1, fractional T1 and frame relay carriers, these modular RISC-based systems can be adapted to unique configuration requirements. They suit remote internetworking and remote LAN access applications where distributed workgroups must exchange information or collaborate on projects.
The WANMaster T-100 system comes standard with a main T1 port, one user port, status LEDs, LCD display and push buttons for front panel configuration, an RS232 control port and integrated software for menu-driven terminal configuration and monitoring, and support for SNMP and Telnet via SLIP and PPP.
Model T-250 adds a second user port and an optional T1 port for PBX or other devices.
