Allplan FT is an architectural software system designed by architects and engineers that works the way building design professionals think, moving seamlessly between functions. The software is object-oriented and intelligently works in both 2D and 3D, automatically maintaining integrity and accurate quantities when objects such as doors and windows are inserted or moved.
The program contains highly flexible and powerful project management tools, supporting access control at a personal, project or office level. It also features a unique sketching tool that supports freehand bubble diagrams, regularizing these bubbles into rectilinear shapes of the same size with the same relationship.
Allplan FT contains a powerful drafting module with advanced automatic dimensioning tools, and has many 3D functions including a 3D solids modeler with full boolean function support, allowing architects to undertake massing studies quickly and easily. It also offers many visualization tools, and features real-time fly-by and walk-through animation. Available for Windows NT and 95, the software has both a Beginner and Advanced interface mode.
