Save the Cats, Learn Geometry Perimeter, Area, and Volume

Paws and Pyramids is a geometry learning adventure set in a thematic "Egyptian" world. Students must find a formula to help save the cats, turned blue by an evil queen, scattered throughout the queen's pyramid. As students discover the formula, they answer questions about perimeter, area, volume and surface area, building geometry skills while exercising critical-thinking skills.
Teachers may allow students to access a formula reference for each of the 22 different skill levels, and word problems can be included with every level. At game's end, a report shows students' progress, which is stored for teacher access. Lab packs, network and site licenses are available. GAMCO Education Materials, Big Spring, TX, (800) 351-1404. M
