Oracle Education Delivers Training

Oracle Education has been made a separate business unit of Oracle Corp. The division trains customers in both the use of Oracle software and in changing a management structure from mainframe-based systems to client- server systems. More than 170 instructor-led courses are offered in 175 Oracle education centers in 63 countries. Courses are designed to meet the needs of specific job titles. Other options are The Oracle Channel, which broadcasts sessions live and employs two-way voice plus response keypads; and Media Based Training, which complements classroom training with CBT and VBT (video based training). Strategic education partnerships with Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems will enable all three firms to offer fully integrated curriculum paths on a variety of platforms.
