IBM Offers Flexible Financing for Schools

BM Credit Corp.'s new Preferred Financing for Education Program offers low rates and flexible terms for schools that wish to acquire IBM personal computers for classrooms, labs or offices. Qualifying U.S. tax-exempt K-12 or higher education customers who acquire $100,000 or more of IBM PCs, software and services on 24- to 36-month financing terms can take advantage of financing rates as low as 4.75%. For a 37- to 60-month term, financing rates are as low as 5.0%. In addition, qualifying private institutions that obtain IBM PC hardware on 24- to 36-month terms may receive rates as low as 7.5% (all rates subject to change). This offer applies to IBM PC servers, laptops, desktops, docking stations and other hardware. To be eligible, schools must order and install their systems before Dec. 31, 1996.
