Draft in Windows for Less Dough

Symmetrica is new 3D drafting software that delivers the drafting capabilities of expensive, proprietary CAD systems in an easy-to-use and cost-effective software architecture.

For Windows NT or 95, and built entirely with Microsoft Visual C++ and the Microsoft Foundation Class libraries, the software conforms closely to Microsoftís user interface guidelines, reducing the training time typical of complex CAD solutions. Many early users have responded enthusiastically after discovering that their familiarity with other Windows software pays off with Symmetrica.

Symmetrica is distributed in its entirety via the Internet as well as the Architecture Forum on CompuServe. All functions are enabled in the unregistered demo version with exception of AutoCAD import and export.

A standard license is $50, entitling one to continue using Symmetrica beyond a reasonable evaluation period. A ìproî license, for $100, enables import and export of AutoCAD DXF and DWG files through Rl2.

Lastly, the Symmetrica Resource Localization Kit simplifies translating the software to other national languages; a Japanese version is on its way. Software Engineering, Inc., Highlands Ranch, CO, (303) 470-7142, www.datapype.net/~sei.
