TeleCommunity Centers Offer Free Public Access
        
        
        
        Anderson Soft-Teach has pledged                  to deliver its award-winning computer training                  courses at Southwestern Bellís                  TeleCommunity Centers, which provide the public                  with free access to the latest computers,                  communications and Internet technology. The centers                  are located throughout Missouri. 
                  
                  The multimedia training courses, in both networked                  self-study and videotape classroom format, will be                  available in all seven of the existing and planned                  centers, including one at the University of                  Missouri, St. Louis. Microsoft, Apple, Claris,                  Adobe and other leading vendors have joined in the                  technical training efforts. 
                  
                  Anderson's SmartTrainer courseware --                  combining audio, video, text and graphics --                  provides self-paced training for up to 25                  concurrent network users on Microsoft Windows 95,                  Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. The                  programís HelpDesk lets one search for                  answers while working within                  applications. 
                  
                  
                  In addition, SmartTrainer Video courseware is the                  basis for the TeleCommunity Centersí                  classroom learning. Videos cover Microsoft Office,                  Microsoft Project and Microsoft Mail. Included are                  videotapes, instructorís guides, student                  workbooks, practice disks and skills                  tests.
