Color CCD Camera Weighs Half a Pound

A new compact high-resolution color CCD camera from Elmo, the TSN-400 Series boasts more than 470 (H) lines of resolution, yet it weighs about half a pound. All controls are positioned on the outside of the camera for maximum accessibility.

Educators could, for example, use the camera to demonstrate scientific procedures to large groups of students by projecting a close-up view onto a video screen. They also may incorporate one or more units into a distance learning environment.

The camera comes in 24V AC, 12V DC and 120V AC models. The 12V DC model includes YC, composite video outputs and genlock. All units have an S/N ratio of more than 48dB and need only 2.2 lux minimum illumination.

A unique back focus adjustment wheel on the simplifies zoom lens installation. Elmo Mfg. Corp., New Hyde Park, NY, (516) 763-2900.
