Microsoft Plus! Now Comes in a Kid Version

Make Windows 95 Safe and Easy for Kids

Microsoft Plus! for Kids gives parents and educators a solution for both safeguarding children on the Internet and protecting PCs and important files from kidsí intentional or unintentional antics.

The Windows 95 add-on packageís Protect It! feature allows educators to quickly and easily set up a customized profile for each class member. Teachers decide what each student can or cannot access on the PCís hard drive including files, programs, computer settings and modem usage. Protect It! also lets one restrict the types of Web sites and content that can be accessed by the PC.

Another bonus is that kids get to learn Windows 95 at their own pace. When they log on to Windows 95, their own customized desktop offers only the programs that have been designated for their use. They can choose from one of 10 kid-oriented desktop ìthemes,î each with its own sounds, wallpaper, desktop icons, screen saver and animated mouse pointers.
