Publisher Gives Away Anatomical Software

Under the A.D.A.M. Education Research Partnership Program, anatomical software packages valued at up to $20,000 will be awarded to higher education institutions for integration into their curriculum. To apply, in four pages or less, create a hypothesis and plan of action, covering one academic year, that describes the specific steps you will follow after receiving the grant.

One product offered, A.D.A.M. Interactive Anatomy presents more than 20,000 anatomical structures in four different views. This flagship product in the A.D.A.M. Scholar Series features powerful search capabilities, a streamlined interface, multi-language support and Internet links. It suits courses in anatomy, health sciences and allied health at medical school and graduate levels.

Another title, A.D.A.M. Practice Practical lets instructors randomly generate tests based on region and system, image type and question format. The Interactive Physiology Instructor's Edition bundles A.D.A.M. Practice Practical with all five Interactive Physiology modules (Cardiovascular, Muscular, Respiratory, Nervous and Urinary Systems) and other tools.

A.D.A.M. Software will conduct seminars throughout the country to distribute grant applications and share ideas for using the firm's products in the classroom. Training sessions will be limited to approximately 30 people. All attendees will receive a free copy of Practice Practical. Call (800) 755-2326, ext. 3148, to register. A.D.A.M.
