Reaching a New Math Learning Destination

In an attempt to offer a motivating, curriculum-based learning system for math, Riverdeep Interactive Learning has introduced Destination Math. It is a comprehensive mathematics curriculum that focuses on increasing student academic achievement while offering teachers a flexibility to meet individual student needs. The program includes an individualized assessment component that allows teachers to easily monitor student performance in relation to established instructional objectives.

Each course is divided into modules, with each module further divided into units and lessons. Individual lessons are divided into two instructional components: sessions and workouts. Sessions introduce core concepts and workouts allow students to apply the knowledge.

The Destination Math suite consists of the following titles: Mastering Skills and Concepts, which covers the math core curriculum for elementary and middle/junior high students and includes arithmetic, geometry, probability and statistics; and Mastering Algebra, which covers the algebra curriculum for high schools and includes the study of polynomials, analytic functions, and functions and relations.
