Extra Help for State Tests

eScore.com, a customized educational service site for children up to age 18 and their parents, has introduced State Test Readiness Evaluations for exams in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Massachusetts, New York, Utah, Virginia, Washington DC and West Virginia. More states' tests will soon be incorporated into the site, as well. The tests give parents an immediate idea of the skills their children have mastered, where they need improvement, and which educational resources could help. Each evaluation costs $24.

The site offers overviews of education standards in all 50 states, as well as more than 200 academic skill assessments and more than 600 skill-building activities. Through customized person-to-person services, parents and students can communicate directly with learning experts and education specialists. The site also includes child development workshops and other state test resources. Score! Learning, Inc., Alameda, CA, (888) ESCORE4, www.escore.com/state_test_eval/.
