Learn Real World Applications for Geometry

Boxer Geometry is one of several tutorials created by Boxer Learning, Inc. The instructional CD-ROM includes 102 activities that are divided into nine areas. Step-by-step instructions guide users toward an enhanced understanding of geometric principles. Through the use of interactive technology and graphics, students can create points, lines and angles, and they can apply coordinates in order to design examples that illustrate the relationship between algebra and geometry.

The program exemplifies how the foundations of geometry are used every day through real world examples, such as reflected light and finding the volumes of objects. Boxer Geometry also includes the Boxer management system, which allows teachers to assess each student’s individual needs and progress.

A sample of Boxer Geometry is now available online at BOXERmath.com, and a demo is also available on CD-ROM. However, Boxer Geometry is being released in stages on BOXERmath.com, and the complete program will be available both online and on CD-ROM in September.
