Chek.com, an e-communication service provider, has partneredwith Binney & Smith, producer of children’s art materials and Crayolaproducts, to offer free Web-based e-mail on their crayola.com site. Subscriberswill get a full range of Chek.com’s e-Communication services, includingfilters, an online folder for organizing mail, 3 MB of disk storage, attachmentcapabilities and an address book. In addition to the new e-mail service,parents visiting the site will find parenting tips, book reviews and a largesearch database of possible arts and crafts projects. Once an activity isselected in the database, the duration of the activity can be entered to tailorthe activity to meet the specific needs of the consumer. Kids will find interactiveonline games and the Crayola Activity Book, and educators can search a databaseof classroom lessons and art techniques, as well as science experiments andarts advocacy information.
