Panduit's new
MINI-COM TX-5 Jack Module features the GIGA-TX termination method, which speeds installation and reduces conductor untwist to provide superior performance. This termination method also eliminates crosstalk variability.
The design of the new TX-5 module meets all requirements of the TIA/EIA Category 5 industry standards. Each of the contacts are plated with 50 microinches of gold, and meet FCC Part 68 Subpart F. The GIGA-TX termination style is quick and easy to assemble, using a forward motion termination method that eliminates stress on critical subcomponents for added reliability. The TX-5 module can be easily terminated without the use of a punchdown tool.
