New Releases - Export Whiteboard Content to Macs

Virtual Ink Corp.'s mimio 1.5 for the Macintosh gives Mac users the ability to export whiteboard information to QuickTime or to iMovie for editing and viewing as rich content. In the video applications, whiteboard information can be manipulated for presentations. The digital tool captures handwritten color text and drawings as real-time data. mimio 1.5 is compatible with Mac OS 8.6 and Mac OS9, and supports plug-ins and additional export file formats. Once the data is integrated into QuickTime, special effects such as sounds can be added.

Included on mimio 1.5 for the Mac are the 24" capture bar, mimio eraser, four marker styli and a USB adapter. Version 1.5 allows users to review, edit, share, and export the information created in a whiteboard session, thereby eliminating time spent transcribing notes and producing handouts.
