Web Platform Connects Campus Communities

Designed to serve the entire enterprise of an educational institution, Campus Pipeline Web Platform provides the APIs necessary to integrate Web-based applications and systems into one centralized point of access. Campus Pipeline serves as the entry point from which all members of a campus community can tap into academic resources, administrative services, community information and the Internet. This Intranet infrastructure also comes equipped with a full suite of application tools that may enhance a school's communication system and services.

Special features of the Platform include a My Pipeline tab, an e-mail center, school services, a Campus Life section and a Web Life section. The My Pipeline tab includes personalized announcements based on each individual's role on campus, school-wide announcements, personalized Internet news and links to campus resources. The e-mail center provides one common interface for viewing e-mails. Other features of the e-mail center include centralized e-mail management, a hierarchical folder structure, and consolidated administrative control from a central Web-based server. From the School Services tab, educators may access employee information, grades, transcripts, course homepages, threaded discussions and online office hours. The Campus Life tab lists campus and local community events, and serves as a tool for creating personal Web pages. Campus Pipeline, Inc., Salt Lake City, UT, (888) 682-PIPE, www.campuspipeline.com.
