Scholastic.com has launched a new homepage with shortcuts to grade-appropriate lesson plans, online activities and other resources. New grade-specific gateway pages provide a quick view of the most appropriate online material. Among the site’s new features is a search mechanism specific to Scholastic. Shortcuts on the page lead to Teacher Toolkit (a free homepage builder for classroom Web sites), lesson plans and reproducible materials, professional resources, information on authors and books, online activities, and daily Internet news written specifically for kids.
