Web Design in 3D

Macromedia’s Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio can create interactive, rich media content, including 3D for the Web, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs and more. It includes a new version of the Shockwave Multiuser Server, Havok physics engine for 3D game behaviors, support for Macromedia Flash 5 and the ability to stream RealMedia content. Also, in a joint effort with Intel, 3D support is now included.

The program provides developers with a robust 3D content creation and publishing solution. It enables users to create real world applications that deliver immersive 3D. Support for RealAudio and RealVideo means that developers can now deliver audio and video content on the Web. Macromedia, San Francisco, CA, www.macromedia.com.
