Hewlett-Packard's e-pc 42

Hewlett-Packard recently released the e-pc 42, billed as the smallest desktop computer. The new 9.9 lb. HP desktop measures 3.7" wide, 9.8" high and 11" deep. It features an Intel Pentium 4 processor up to 1.8 GHz at introduction, and memory flexibility up to 1 GB, including two accessible slots. The e-pc 42 offers both a 20 GB and 40 GB UATA/100 hard drive, non-ECC PC-133 SDRAM, four USB ports (two in front and two in back), a CD-RW drive and 16 MB DDR SDRAM video memory. The e-pc 42 comes Windows XP-ready and offers a fast 30-second boot time. The new desktop is also secure, offering the HP port control system, the HP lock and secured front USB ports. In addition, the e-pc 42 is versatile enough to stand horizontally or vertically, and with an all-in-two integration kit it can support 15" and 17" LCD monitors.
