This site offers online professional development courses, provides opportunities for peer collaboration, allows teachers to virtually visit classrooms through streaming video and more. Features on the site include daily classroom specials, videos for teachers, resources for new teachers, grant opportunities, teacher bulletin boards, lesson plans and complete curriculum units, and a teacher bookstore. The site was developed by Teachers Network, a 22-year-old nonprofit organization based in New York that works to connect and support teachers.
