College Textbooks, Study Guides Go Digital

MetaText, the digital textbook division of netLibrary, has developed electronic versions of John Wiley & Sons college textbooks. A total of 15 titles are now available for review and adoption through the MetaText Web site.

Students will now be able to purchase Wiley titles through the MetaText Web-based platform. Titles include textbooks and study guides in the subject areas of business, accounting, science and social science.

MetaText editions contain the essential elements of a textbook, including select photographs, charts and graphics. The e-textbooks are Web-based and have no download or plug-in requirements, allowing for quick and easy access. The MetaText editions also offer instructors and students a variety of tools, including instructor/ student annotations, announcements, highlighting capabilities and integration with the American Heritage Dictionary.
