Texas Instruments Unveils New Handheld Device

Texas Instruments recently released its newest handheld, the Voyage 200, which expands on the Flash memory of its popular TI-92 Plus handheld three-fold. The Voyage 200 personal learning tool (PLT) features an icon desktop, a large screen display with 128 x 240 pixel imaging, computer connectivity and multicurricular software applications - making it an adept tool for students learning mathematics and other subjects. The unit is also ergonomically designed and comes with a QWERTY keypad.

The Voyage 200 PLT comes loaded with several applications and can easily be customized to meet specific classroom needs. Teachers and students can also use the TI-GRAPH LINK USB cable, packaged with the unit, and TI Connect software to download feature upgrades, additional applications and data files from the Internet to expand its use across multiple subject areas.
