Focus on Science

Science can be the most exciting or the most tedious subject for students. Encompassing everything from space to animals to the human body, science is probably the one subject that can use multimedia tools to their fullest. Exploring the solar system in a book d'esn't exactly compare to a 3-D interactive adventure through space. And for squeamish students, dissection is easier to conduct on a computer screen than in the classroom. With amazing discoveries in both science and technology over the last several years, it is only natural that the two should work together so well for the benefit of the classroom. This month's Focus On uncovers a few of the latest innovative tools to supplement science education.
