New Releases...Cooler v2.0 by Fortres Grand

Cooler v2.0 by Fortres Grand is a Windows security tool that can be used to protect applications and programs at risk of being tampered with. The tool allows users to disable nearly any keystroke combination, menu item, dialog box, dialog box item, window control or toolbar. The settings can be stored in configuration files that contain information about any number of programs. A particularly useful feature is the tool's ability to insert one file into another for modular building. This allows administrators to use the Cooler configuration files as build-ing blocks for application pro-tection.

For easier administration, Fortres Grand's Central Control remote administration program can be used to control the Cooler on one security interface over a network. The user can then customize Cooler security based on user login. User specified settings integrate with Novell or Windows NT/2000 user groups. A list of popular programs is available in the Cooler File Library located at Fortres Grand's Web site. Fortres Grand, Plymouth, IN, (800) 331-0372, www.fortres.com.
